Let’s end college poverty!

40% of college and university students drop out each year.

We can fix that.

At Wesley House, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and build strong communities by supporting equitable access to higher education through affordable housing and support services. We do this by breaking down the barriers to higher education experienced by low-income and system-impacted individuals. We ensure students’ basic needs are met and we provide access to in-house and community resources designed to meet their emerging needs.

Our Programs

Equipped for Success

Our Equipped for Success program uses the Wesley House food pantry as a pipeline to provide access to a wide array of support services designed to help San Diego residents achieve their personal, professional, and academic goals.

Graduating to Greatness

The Graduating to Greatness program provides essential support for low-income and system-impacted college students. These services are tailored to the specific needs of post-secondary students so that they cross the finish line.

Welcome Home

Welcome Home provides access to stable, safe, and affordable supportive housing for low-income and system-impacted students. We directly house up to 32 students annually, and we offer referrals and housing resources to an additional 700 students.
